Jamie Wilson is the supervising attorney of Seabaugh & Sepulvado's oil and gas division in Shreveport. She graduated cum laude from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/Pre-law in 2003 and completed her Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law degrees at LSU's Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2008. Jamie has more than 10 years of experience in advising upstream energy companies in their exploration and production operations, with an emphasis on title examination and transactional matters. Her practice focuses on examination of land, mineral and leasehold title, drafting title opinions and division order work. She has extensive experience drafting, interpreting, and negotiating contractual provisions in oil and gas related contracts, curative instruments, and joint operating agreements. Jamie previously worked as a Landman, Abstractor, Closing Agent and Title Attorney and was recognized as a 2023 Top Attorney by SB Magazine. She is licensed as a producer of title insurance by the Louisiana Department of Insurance. Jamie is a member of the Shreveport Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, and the Ark-La-Tex Association of Professional Landmen and is currently acting as a member of the ALTAPL Board of Directors. Jamie was honored to serve her state as Miss Louisiana 2006. During her tenure, she traveled the State of Louisiana and acted as spokesperson for the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports and the school programs “Louisiana Cares for Children” and “Right Decisions Right Now.” She continues to support the organization by serving on the inaugural board of directors for the Miss Louisiana Scholarship Foundation.
