Tomlin Wilson is a member of Seabaugh & Sepulvado's oil and gas division. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration in 2009. His education concentration was in corporate finance management and accounting. During his undergraduate years at Alabama, Tomlin was a member of the university’s water ski team, medaled in the University World and National Water Ski Championships, and served as the team’s president. Tomlin obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2013.

Following his admission to the Louisiana State Bar Association, Tomlin served as a public defender for Caddo Parish focusing on Child in Need of Care and misdemeanor criminal cases. His years as a public defender, together with the management of a private practice in family law, have provided extensive legal writing and litigation experience. Tomlin handled multiple appeals, including an appearance before the Louisiana Supreme Court. Having previously clerked for our firm in 2012, Tomlin recently decided to rejoin our team and further develop his experience in land, mineral and leasehold title examination and transactional matters.
